First impression – Sengoku Otome: Momoire Paradox

06 Apr

What is this Anime about?
I’m not to sure yet to be honest. What I do know is that we are following a girl that everyone calls Hideuoshi. She is having a few problems at school, mainly not being able to get of the train at the right stop because it is so crowded. She has not been studying and there is a test about the warring states period in Japanese history. She goes to a shrine to pray for luck and interrupts something. When she comes to she is laying in the woods and there is a fire. She meets a female who claims to be Oda Nobunaga who asks for Hideyoshis help in completing a set of armor known as the Crimson Armor that will unite all of Japan under Nobunaga’s control.

not out yet

Where is it heading?
Haven’t figured that one out ether. I think this is something that her teacher did (through magic) to help Hideyoshi study by living through it. Though I’m not sure if that is entirely correct as it seemed like pure coincidence that they were at the same place and the person that made the magic spell seemed genuinely surprised when Hideyoshi fell into the inner shine.

My opinion starting out
It may just be me but this seems to follow similarly to the story line of inuyasha but without the demons and purely women.

Rating so far
I think for now I am going to give this a 4.5 out of 5 just because I think it has some parallels to inuyasha but it is still original and looks interesting.
(this score is based on how original the anime is starting, 1 means that is is way to over played, 3 means that it has some originality to it but it’s sticking to what is safe. 5 means that the anime is starting off with a completely original idea.

So what do you think? The only way to make these posts better is if you tell us what we can improve upon so please leave a comment to help us get better (^。^)
