IM BACK ^_^

ok so as some of you may have noticed I have been gone for a little over 2 months and there is a very good reason for this and that is that I have joined the US air force. Writing anime reviews does not make to much money…non in fact so I had to get me a job….but now that I am out of basic I can start watching anime again and writing reviews as I find the time. I’m not sure how much time I will have later this year but for now i have a lot of time in the evenings and weekends to do this so lets get this show back on the road….OOOOOHHW look at that persona 4 the animation *goes to a free wi-fi corner to watch* ^_^

 

First impresions – Kamisama No Memo-chou

What is this Anime about?
From the first episode this seems to be a detective anime. So it starts out with a kid (not sure if he is the main character or if Alice is…) moving into town. He has always moved around and because of it has learned to never learn any ones name/ never get to close. He would even get into clubs that had very little members of no interaction with others. This changes though as soon as he starts going to school. Ayaka asks him to join her gardening club in return she would join the computer club which he is the only member of. After he joins she takes him to her work and introduces him to some NEET’s that are hanging around back. while there all sitting there Alice calls one of the guys to bring her up leek ramen. Narumi is the one that has to take the ramen to her after failing a game they played. Alice is a shut in with a shit load of computers. she uses them to help solve cases she takes for the NEET Detective Agency, of which she started.

 

First impresions – Ro-Kyu-Bu!

What is this Anime about?
Basketball and ecchi from what I can tell. I have watched the first two episodes and while it does focus mostly on the basketball side of the anime there are blatant moments of pure ecchi. So far there is a plot, unlike in Softenni which took forever to get a plot (if it ever did), and the story is moving at a nice pace. There are no real moments of the anime trudging trough something just to wast time.

Sorry I have been gone a little thing called life started and I have not had the time to keep up with this….I haven’t even watched anime for like a month before this week. I hope to start being a little more active and getting at least a post out a day again but I cant make any promises…

What is this Anime about?
Well it seems to be about blood an violence although this is not apparent in the first half. Im not sure if this is continuation of the blood series or not though this is made by clamp where blood + was by Production I.G. I am interested to see where this anime is going to go because it has been a wile since i have seen a bloody anime from clamp and I want to see where they take it.

ok so I know that at least some of you have noticed that there has not been a new post in a while…sorry about that. It may be summer vaca but all that means is that I personally have less time in front of the computer. Lucky this will only be for about 2 more weeks where I am busy as hell but I wanted to let you all know that the blog is still alive. I have plans for some reviews as soon as I get the time, and here in the next week to week in a half I will start posting up the mid season recommendations for the anime that I am still following. well anyways that is all for now, Ill try and get a review up this week but no promises.

 

First impresions – Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko

What is this Anime about?
I think this anime is trying to figure that out it self. So we start off with Makoto NIWA moving to “the city watched over by aliens” to live with his aunt while his parents are over seas. his aunt is supposed to live alone and work almost all the time. Only one of those things is actually true. She has a daughter, Erio TOUWA, that she ignores. Apparently Meme TOUWA did not say anything about Erio to anyone in the family to protect her. Erio went missing for six months and when she turned up she was floating in the ocean and could not remember anything. she started to make up a story that she was abducted and was her self an alien. She tried to prove this to everyone in her class by flying; however, things did not go as smoothly as she planed and she got hurt after landing in a shallow river. after she recovered from her broken bones she wrapped herself in a futon to avoid getting hurt anymore and stopped going to class. Makoto started to take an interest in her after finding out that she looks really cute. His main goal is to try and bring her back to reality.

 

First impressions – Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san.

What is this Anime about?
Demons, demons, demons, and perversion rampant. Well that about sums it up rather nicely I think. So basically this is a 15 minute anime where just about every episode we are introduced to a new demon and perversion. The person who summons the demons, Akutabe, is a frighting man that has a detective business and the demons are his way of helping his clients. So far there has been a sexual harassment demon that looks kinda like a dog, a poo eating fly demon that looks like a penguin, a lizard like demon, and a mermaid.

 

First impressions – Softenni

What is this Anime about?
A soft tennis club…i thought the title said it all…ok more in depth. This anime stars five girls and the soft tennis coach while following Asuna HARUKAZE. Basically another sports anime…but with ecchi undertones added. Not much goes on in an episode but the did have to block like a minuet on the tv version “dew to some inappropriate erotic scenes” which made me laugh fairly hard for about 5-10 seconds.

 

First impressions – Ao no Exorcist

What is this Anime about?
Rin OKUMURA is a kid that grows up in a Cristian exorcist compound. Rin has a slight problem with his anger though and has not been able to get a job. When he finally manages to get hired at a super market for his cooking ability he calls everyone to let them know. Once he hangs up the phone a scarf blows in front of him. He grabs it and starts to hand it back to the little girl that was chasing it when he sees something at the end tugging at it. The monkey like monster runs in the super market and Rin gives chase. The thing destroys a lot of the merchandise and Rin gets fired for it. Later when he tries to explain what happened to his father he gets grounded and cant leave the compound, but being Rin he does anyways after being taunted by a kid that he beat up. This leads to an explosion of power from Rin and him finding out that he is only half human. His real father, satin, wanted him back.

 

First impressions – Astarotte no Omocha!

What is this Anime about?
This anime is about a succubus trying to over come her fear of men so that she can create a harem. In the first episode we are introduced to Princess Lotte, a succubus that was traumatized when she saw her mom and another guy doing what a succubus needs to do in order to live. Ever sense then Lotte has hated men and has moved away form home living with only women except for her butler Olav. One of Lotte’s “servants” (for lack of a better term) keeps yelling at her for not being able to create a harem. Lotte tells her that if she can get a human she will create a harem. Lotte believes this is impossible at the tree connecting other worlds was damaged in some sort of war and travel was made impossible; however, Judit manages to go to the human world and convince a human male (Naoya TOUHARA) to become part of the harem by offering 600,000 yen a month pay. Naoya agrees to go to see Lotte and after hearing her story from Olav and some of the others agrees to stay and help if he could bring his daughter Asuha to there world. Oh and here is some extra stuff that we learn in episode 3: Lotte is 10, (learned this in episode 1) Asuha is also 10, and Naoya is 23…so yes he is 13 years older then Lotte, but also means that he had a kid at 13 as well…just one of those things where I was like “what?! Really?”
